Project Introduction
Turing Health is a patient care management system designed for in-house healthcare processes. The platform enables administrators to manage doctors, nurses, patients, and system configurations. Doctors can access and update patients' health and food records, while nurses or caretakers log vital signs, medications, and meals. Additionally, patient guardians can monitor the entire treatment process through a mobile interface.

The Problem or Challenge
The client approached us with several key challenges in managing patient care effectively:
Fragmented data
Doctors, nurses, and caregivers struggled with accessing and updating patient information efficiently across different systems.
Lack of real-time visibility
Guardians found it difficult to stay informed about patient treatment updates and overall health status.
Complex user flows
The existing interface was not intuitive, leading to confusion and delays in managing critical patient information.

The client needed a solution that could adapt to a growing number of users and changing healthcare needs.

To tackle the client’s challenges, I developed a comprehensive, user-centered design that enhances efficiency and accessibility
Role-based access
Implemented role-based user interfaces tailored to each user type—administrators, doctors, nurses, and guardians—ensuring relevant information is displayed for each role without overwhelming the user.
Streamlined user flows for doctors and nurses
Simplified complex workflows by reorganizing information architecture, enabling healthcare providers to quickly log and access patient data. This reduces time spent navigating the system, allowing more focus on patient care.
Vital and treatment logs integration
Integrated real-time tracking for vital signs, medication, and food logs, ensuring that doctors and nurses have the most up-to-date patient information. This supports better decision-making and care adjustments.
Mobile accessibility for guardians
Designed a mobile-responsive interface for patient guardians, allowing them to access real-time updates on health records, treatments, and vital signs. This empowers families to stay informed and engaged in the patient’s care from anywhere, reducing anxiety and improving transparency.

Recommendations and next steps
To further enhance the platform, I recommend integrating an AI-based model that can accurately diagnose diseases by analyzing various symptoms and provide alerts based on patient vitals and baseline thresholds.
